Photo below: "Jody:The Diaries and Death of a Hollywood Actress"
"On January 22, 2002, a Hollywood film crew began making a documentary on aspiring 21 year old actress, Jody Cauldwell of Lewiston, Idaho. During production, Jody died of an accidental drug overdose."
"Jody" is my fictitious story about an aspiring actress, who instead of perfecting her craft, choose to self destruct instead. Scene from "Jody" as she gets high with one of her struggling actor boyfriends.
Scene from "Campus High". My new TV series to be shot on the campus at UCLA for the fall 2010' season. Pilot show looks great.

8MM, Digital8, MiniDV, 24p, 35mm. I get it done.

This is me:
First of all let me make myself very clear, Los Angeles and New York Actors...are the BEST! Period. Mt LA actors work so very, very, very, hard. I make them better actors and they are incredible!
Moved to LA from Seattle in 1984. Interned on several feature films and aton of tv shows. Attempted to shoot my first feature in 1987. Lack of funding forced the film to be incomplete until end of 1987. Father died in 1989. I then toke a long hiatus just to write and help other filmmakers.
I wrote over 100 shorts and 34 feature scripts. Then in January 2001, I shot a trailer for my script "The South Central Cartel".Then in the summer of 2001 I began shooting my shorts on mini dv, 8mm, and digital8. Within one year, I had written, produced, directed, shot and edited, over 100 digital video shorts, and two features. And to keep it simple, and to get it done quickly, I've never used a film crew. I write, shoot and edit myself.
Now at 58, 5' 9" 250 lbs, I've also been working out with weights for 37 years. First off, I'm a fighter, not a lover. I've been a powerlifter over 30 years. Bench Press 600 pounds. One arm curl 120 pounds. 800 pound deadlift. Pure Pain. I still Box and have been Boxing since 1970, 37 years. Point: Have No Fear. Stay Strong. Lift Heavy. And above all, kick some ass.
Since I love it tough...I tend to lean more toward "tough" actors. Thats why my shorts have a "tough, hard" edge burned on 'em. In January 2004, I started my own syndicated TV Network: "The Celebrity TV Network".
Now with over 100 short film practice sessions out the way, I'm preparing to shoot my 24P feature "Shooting Star" in Late 2010'. The film is about a 21 year old, alcohol and drug addicted Oscar winning Hollywood actress. I'm also looking forward to landing a feature film deal with a major studio. Bottom line: Stay Strong. Stay hungry. Get it done.
